Ask.com umožní užívateľom vymazávať hľadané odkazy
by Dominika Nagyova

iPhone- take a bow
by Claudia Sonea

The iPhone is a multimedia, Internet-enabled mobile phone designed and marketed by Apple Inc. It has a multi-touch screen with virtual keyboard and buttons. Introduced first in the United States on June 29, 2007 with much media frenzy and then in the United Kingdom, Germany and France in November 2007, Apple's product was named Time magazine's "Invention of the Year" in 2007 and also snatched No 1 slot on a list of the fastest-rising search terms in the United States in Google's top where technology and entertainment were ahead of everything else. Apple newest product has certain functions that includes a camera phone and a portable media player ("iPod"), in addition to text messaging and visual voicemail, e-mail, web browsing, and local Wi-Fi connectivity, Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution (EDGE) technology for higher speed and reliability. The iPhone is a quad-band mobile phone that uses the GSM standard, hence has international capability and since it was released on the market it was a total hit. Four other social networking sites made Google's top 10, including Webkinz (a stuffed animal that customers can register and play with online), which grabbed the No. 2 slot. Furthermore, No 3 was grabbed by Celebrity news Web site TMZ, while transformer toys took the No. 4 slot due to the success of the movie Transformers, according to Marissa Mayer of Google, an Internet search engine. On the 5th position was placed Youtube, while Club Penguin, a networking site for children, came in No. 6. All in all, the iPhone is the greatest product of this year and everyone wants it on their list of gifts that Santa has for them. Even the critics are forced to take a bow in face of the figures and the Apples' success.

More information at Google
by Natalia Holvova

Searching anything at Google has become essential part of our lives and if we need any information the first think we try to do is "googling" it. We can find enormous amount of information online, we can read it, study it, search for it and even edit it. Google is able to do all hard work for us. And even more Google is coming up with new possibilities to get governmental information or subject into your browser as easy as possible. Not all states departments made an agreement with Google yet but some of them started already. This could make us able to find any document or subject which is reachable online in less than second. I know getting information online is much faster and I would be happy to get everything done in short time period but I am also little bit skeptic. Sometimes I am afraid we are becoming slaves of the computers. There are laws to protect human data and any personal information but I am always little bit nervous once the information is loaded up because there are possibilities of using it in harmful meaning. I do not want anybody go through my files and be able to find out where I leave. Since Internet has existed, it is huge helper for all of us. On the other hand there is big gap in virtuosity which could be misused. I would feel much better if there are some protection elements on my data so not anybody can see them.
